If you want to stop the CD-Rom from automatically running, open the Registry and look for this string:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
Now right-click on the 'AutoRun' String and select 'Modify'. Change the value to 0 and click OK.
